Unfortunately the Brighouse Swimming Pool has been closed due to debris, including glass, was found to be falling into the pool from the roof in June 2006. A report found that it would cost nearly £1million to repair the 100 year old pool. This is disappointing to the residents of Brighouse who have been hoping for a new pool for over 30 years. Instead, local residents are free to use the following public swimming pools;
